24-25 May is an action packed weeked for horse lovers. The Malta Equestrian Federation has rented the facilities at Monte Kristo Equestrian Center for their annual show, spanning over both Saturday and Sunday.
24 May Dressage & WDC Qualifier 1
The dressage will be held on Saturday afternoon, starting at 3pm. This competition doubles as the first (of 2) qualifier for the WDC [the World Dressage Challenge]. That means this competition holds International Standards and a Dutch judge approved by the FEI is being flown in to judge this event.
Spectators are warmly welcomed but asked to utilise the area set up for spectators and not stand by the entrance to the arena. Dogs must be on the leash and quiet. In the interest of providing the riders with equal opportunity, we ask that spectators stay calm and keep their mobiles on silent while watching the dressage. A horse spooking means points lost for the competitors regardless of the reason.
25 May Show Jumping

SADLY, the show jumping was cancelled due to lack of entries. However, there are two show jumping events the following weekend, one at La Vallette in Marsa and one at Monte Kristo. Do not despair!
